As of August 20th 2007 the Arizona Department of Agriculture re-open their State line PLANT INSPECTION STATION!!! Now actively inspecting all plants on all trucks at all hours of the day & night. They are looking for a reason to stop your shipment. Have the following paperwork in order: GWSS compliance number stamped on an invoice. All Plants material listed with quantities on the invoice. Arizona road use permit, which can be purchased at the California Arizona boarder. Be prepared to show your Medical release card. All truck information, ie. insurance, registration, drivers license, etc. Contact your local Agriculture inspector with any questions, and contact your local CHP with any truck & freight questions. www.azda.gov/
**Social Security No Match Letters Said to be an illegal violation of Privacy.
Rumor has it that even if employers DO NOT respond to the no match Social Security letters, their will be no legal action to employers. The different government agencies, ie homeland security and social security are not legally able to share privacy information regarding employees. What should the employer do in order to stay legal with the system? Stay the course, and ask for proper identification with all new employees.
